The Cloister of San Francesco is centered around an elegant porticoed courtyard defined by harmonious arches and finely crafted local stone columns. Once a place of prayer and meditation for Franciscan friars, it preserves refined architectural details such as vaulted ceilings and stone floors, blending the simplicity of Franciscan style with later Baroque influences. Today, it serves as a versatile cultural venue hosting exhibitions, events, and gatherings, and remains a vibrant part of Ostuni’s cultural life. It will host our evening screenings and opening and closing ceremonies.
