In The Dominance series (2022), the acute condition of women in Iran has been reflected using the female body as a confiscated object of the patriarchal society. Domestic and cultural violence against Iranian women has always been a serious threat to their growth and prosperity.

These days, Iranian women demand freedom with the slogan of “Woman, Life, Freedom”. In fact, it is the greatest movement in recent decades in Iran. Iranian Women fix their eyes towards the future, and a hope that it will hold a better situation for them.

Woman Life Freedom (2023) series borrows its title from this movement. Regardless of its religious aspect, hijab has been a part of the Iranian tradition, just like the Iranian carpet.

Some people adhere to this tradition, and others do not believe in it. However, the intervention of the Iranian authorities has caused hijab to be the point of confrontation for the women of this land, both for those who have been fighting relentlessly against its enforcement for years and even those who believe in hijab.
