The Diocesan Museum of Ostuni, located on the ground floor of the historic Bishop’s Palace, once home to the bishops of the “White City,” opened in July 2017 to preserve and showcase the region’s artistic and historical heritage. Its collection includes works from the Co-Cathedral Chapter Treasury, the Capitular Archaeological Collection, and local churches and monasteries, including Benedictine (founded in 1519) and Carmelite (founded in 1730) institutions, offering a comprehensive view of Ostuni’s religious and cultural legacy. As part of OFF! Ostuni Photo Festival, our exhibition will take place in the Bishop’s private garden, an atmospheric space rarely open to the public.
