Off is partnering with local schools and universities to create meaningful photography workshops for kids and teens. These programs are designed to introduce young creatives to visual storytelling while building technical and artistic skills.
In addition, a volunteer program allows local youth to actively participate in exhibitions and assist with event logistics, creating hands-on experience within a professional festival environment.
Student Exhibition & Contest
The Foto Off! Schools Exhibition is an annual student photo contest and showcase, celebrating emerging talent from local schools. Students are encouraged to submit their best work, which will be exhibited as part of the festival.
This initiative provides young photographers with a platform to present their creativity, gain recognition, and engage with a wider audience.
Photo Market, Workshops & Events
The Photo Market & Book Fair offers photographers the opportunity to sell their work directly to collectors. Visitors can explore independent photobook publishers, printers, and vendors, along with artist book signings and launches. Vintage cameras, film, and printing materials will also be available for purchase.
The Shoot Ostuni workshop invites participants to capture the town and its surroundings, culminating in a pop-up exhibition of their work.
The Photo Marathon is a 24-hour photography challenge across Ostuni, starting on June 19 at 9:00 AM and ending on June 20 at 8:59 AM. Participants must capture all images within this timeframe, documenting the city’s energy, people, and atmosphere. Selected works will be presented at the OFF Awards Ceremony on June 21st, where three winning projects will each receive a €500 prize.
